With my skin being sensitive and eczema prone, I look for products that prevent inflammation and irritation. My skin care regime is sharp and sweet. I use a cleanser, an eye gel, an oil and a moisturiser, in that order. The Clearasil 5 in 1 cleansing washis great, it combats redness, fights pimple formation, removes excess oils, cleans the skin deeply and controls any breakouts. Clearasil can be found at any of your local drugs stores or you can find it online on Amazon. It prices at £6.35/$8.34.
I then pat my face dry and go in with the First Aid Beauty A.M. Gel cream, which is perfect for sensitive skin. I found this gem in Sephora and opted for a gel instead of a creamy texture because the texture is light, silky and leaves the skin with a smooth and refreshed finish. The gel reduces puffiness, fine lines and dark circles, whilst moisturising and firming the skin. I use this both in the morning and at night, before bed. This gel can be bought directly from the First Aid Beauty website or Sephora, Asos, Look Fantastic.com or Selfridges. It prices at £26 or $33 (US).
Once my eyes are taken care, I go in with the Sun Kiss Alba X Derma E, radiant glow face oil. This oil helps soften, illuminate and hydrate the skin. It contains jojoba, argan, sea buckthorn oils and Mica, which all play a vital role in locking in essential hydration and radiance for the skin. The jojoba oil deeply moisturises the skin and helps to promote healthy renewal of skin cells. The Seabuckthorn oil contains antioxidants and vitamins assisting in the appearance of healthy collagen. The argan oil provides anti-oxidant rich moisture for healthy toning and renewed texture of the skin. The Mica within the skin enhances the skins healthy, natural glow. This oil can be found on Derma E’s website, Amazon or at Ulta Beauty. It prices at £16 or $20.
The last step is moisturising. I swear by the Palmers Cocoa Butter Moisturiser. It locks in moisture, leaves the skin soft and firm, is free of parabens and is great for eczema prone skin. You can find the cocoa butter in most drug stores and grocery stores, such as Superdrug, boots, Walmart, Aldi or Amazon. It prices at £2.66 or $3.43.
So that’s my clean, easy and affordable day to day skin care routine. You can find all of these products online or in your local drugstores and they’re great at keeping the skin clean, hydrated, firm and radiant. Please make sure before usage, you patch test the products to see if they work for you. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and I look forward to seeing you soon!
