Hey everyone. As you may have seen in my last post, I have eczema prone skin, making it EXTRA sensitive. So, when it comes to makeup, I have to be extremely careful with the products I apply to my face. BUT it doesn’t mean I can’t get glam! This look is a quick and easy evening glam, that anyone can do.
I achieved this look by using the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer, BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector, Huda Beauty Over Achiever Concealer, Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder and MAC eyeshadow in Frost-Amber Lights.
Starting this look, I prep my skin using the Sun Kiss Alba X Derma E, radiant glow face oil and the Palmers Cocoa Butter Moisturiser. I use this as my base because my skin does not react well to foundations (I immediately break out into red, itchy hives… so foundation is a no go for me!). I then prime my under eyes with the MaybellineBaby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer, which you can find in any drugstore. I then use the BECCA Under Eye Brightening Correctorin shade medium-dark, to combat dark circles. I apply a small amount, with my finger and my discolouration is gone, it’s easily the best corrector I’ve used. It can be found directly on BECCA’s website. After colour correcting, I use a couple of drops of the Huda Beauty Over Achiever Concealerto brighten my eyes, in shade Caramel Corn and blend out with my finger. If you’re looking for a high coverage concealer, this is definitely the one. It can be found in Selfridges or Cult Beauty.
Now that the concealing is done, we can get into the eyeshadow! I started this look by applying the Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powderto the crease and eyelid, using the CYO Blending Brush. I then went over the eyelid twice, using the MAC eyeshadow in Frost-Amber Lights. This shade really stands out and has a copper/brown feel. I then applied the KIKO Colour Sphere Eye Shadow in 04, to my lower lash line, to give a softer tone. This shade is unfortunately discontinued, but I have provided a hyperlink for a similar shade. To apply the KIKO and MAC shadow, I used a flat eyeshadow brush, which you can find in any drugstore.
To finish the look, I applied the Ardell Demi Wispies Lashes and blended my natural lashes in with one coat of the L’Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Excess Mascara. Instead of using a brow gel, I use the Collection Colour Lash Mascara, in Clear to hold down my brows. You can find clear mascara in any drug store. You know I had to finish the look with a coat of the Fenty Gloss Bomb, in shade Fenty Glow.
So that’s my go to evening glam look, that will have you stepping on necks. I hope you have as much fun as I did creating this look, see you soon!
