Fragrance Essentials: Scents You Only Need To Spray Once

Hey everyone, welcome back to SKLifestyle, today I’m bringing you three of my favourite light weight fragrances that you only need to spray ONCE to smell and feel great. I have always been a fragrance advocate simply because of the endless benefits that comes with wearing fragrance such as smelling amazing, enhancing your mood and boosting confidence. There are so many different fragrances on the market today, which sometimes makes it slightly overwhelming when having to choose one. Some people like a fruity and flirty fragrance, while others prefer something that has more of a woody base note. I’ve put together three long lasting, irresistible fragrances that are perfect for any season. So, without further ado let’s get into this fragrance post!

  1. Rogue by Rihanna

I would be lying to you if I said this wasn’t my favourite fragrance of ALL TIME! Rogue carries a mischievous, flirty nature and is a fragrance every woman needs on her vanity. The top notes of this fragrance carry Lemon Blossom and Cyclamen, mixed with Bergamot and spiced with Pink Peppercorn. The aroma evolves with Jasmine, Rose and Muguet blended together with Juicy Plum and seductive Suede. There are warm notes of Sandalwood, Patchouli and Golden Amber accompanied by Vanilla and a sensual Musk to create a bold ending.

This fragrance will have you exuding confidence and is a must for every woman. It comes in a range of different sizes and you can find the 125ml bottle for £17.20/ $22.35 at All of Rihanna’s fragrances are relatively affordable and have different notes to them, so there is something for everyone. Come through inclusivity!

  1. Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker

Lovely is also another relatively affordable fragrance that every woman should have on her vanity. Which better fragrance to have than one developed by miss Carrie Bradshaw herself? This fragrance has a fresh orchid smell mixed with a sultry musk scent, creating an overall sophisticated, luxurious scent that’s also long lasting.

This fragrance is a great value for money and you can find the 150ml fragrance for £22 at  Superdrug(Europe only L).  You can also buy the Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker giftset, which includes the 100ml Fragrance, a rollerball 10ml (perfect for travelling), a compact mirror and a gold clutch bag all for £22.95/ $29.84! This gift set can be bought from

  1. Sweetheart by Ghost

Last but by no means least we have Sweetheart by Ghost. I am a huge fan of Ghost fragrances they do an amazing line that cater to every woman and can be worn from day to night. Sweetheart is a must have fragrance for anyone who loves floral fragrances. This fragrance is feminine, sensual and enchanting. The modern, floral fragrance opens with fresh notes of sweet lemon, pineapple and spearmint. These are followed by a dreamy haze of white flowers and you will smell sensual and woody notes in the base, creating a lingering impression of romance.

This fragrance comes in a variation of sizes, I find the 30ml size is perfect for when you’re on the go and need something to throw into your bag. It is slightly more expensive than the first two, but is definitely worth the splurge! You can find the 75ml bottle at allbeauty.comfor £36/ $46.82. You can also find the 30ml size at for £19.95/ $25.94.

So, there you have it the three lightweight fragrances that I love to reach for on the daily. With all of these fragrances I love how long lasting and light weight they are.  You will only need a couple of sprays of these fragrances (neck, wrists, behind the ears) and you’ll be smelling fresh all day/night long. I hope you enjoyed reading this post & I’d love to hear about your favourite fragrances. See you in the next post!
