Hi guys, Hope everyone is enjoying this bank holiday weekend! Today I’m going to be sharing with you my current favourite concealers which are a mix of both drug store and high end. Concealer is always a must for me! It’s the one product I reach for before anything else! These are my current favourite concealers that I use:
Maybelline age rewind concealer – £8.99
This concealer has been a part of my makeup routine for the last 3 years, I can always rely on this to get the job done. The coverage is really good, it’s not super full coverage but it’s enough to cover any dark circles, puffiness and blemishes. When it comes to my simple makeup routine this is the first concealer I grab, sometimes I don’t even have to apply foundation I will go ahead and apply this all over my face or just on the areas I want to conceal. Its lightweight which is why I love it! It gives me natural coverage and it’s super easy to blend. What I love most is the applicator, it has a little sponge on the top so all you have to do is twist and watch it come up through the sponge which is great as you can control how much you want to apply. This retails at £8.99 and I get the shade medium. I tend to buy mine in bulks and boots/Superdrug’s always have offers on for 3 for 2! I think they have an offer on right now!
NYX Can’t stop won’t stop Concealer – £8
This is a fairly new purchase but it’s now one of my favourite concealers – it’s full coverage and really easy to blend out. One thing I have always struggled with is creasing under the eyes but when I used this concealer plus a setting power, I had no creasing and the product did not budge all day! I bought the shade Neutral it’s a little lighter, but I prefer it as I use this to highlight! This retails at £8!
La Girl Pro.conceal – £5
I bought this recently because I have used the darker shades for contouring and love them; creamy texture and blends out like a dream! So I thought let’s try the concealer in my actual shade. I bought the shade Creamy Beige. When I saw it, it looked a little too warm but once I applied it on to my face it blended out really nicely and it matched my skin perfectly. My eyes seemed lifted which I liked. The coverage is quite light you can build on it which is great for those no makeup – makeup kind of days when you just want to conceal small areas. The applicator is great, it has a little brush on the end so you can just squeeze, and the product will come through on to the brush making it easy to apply. And this retails at £5!! Super cheap guysss, definitely would recommend trying.
Tarte Shape Concealer – £23
When I first bought this concealer I was super excited because of the reviews I had been seeing. The first time I applied it I was like wow! The coverage is beautiful, definitely full coverage, you only need a small amount and it its really easy to blend out. I purchased the shade light medium again to highlight. It’s not cakey either and I don’t get any under-eye creasing! This retails at £23!
Huda Beauty Overachiever Concealer – £23
When I heard Huda was coming out with a concealer, I already knew I had to buy it! There was no question about it I had to have it. I have her foundation and it’s my favourite, its full coverage yet it doesn’t feel cakey or heavy on the skin at all. The concealer shade I have is called sugar biscuit, and one thing I really like about this product is the applicator. It’s a metal applicator but it’s so cooling on the skin, perfect for the mornings to help with any puffiness it’s like a little massager for the eyes ha-ha. Love it! You literally only need a small amount, the consistency is a little thick but blends out nicely! Definitely a great purchase, coverage is just amazing! This retails at £23 also.
I Hope you enjoyed reading! See you on the next post.
