Travel Series Part 2: The Grand Canyon

Welcome back to SKLifestyle everyone, we’re back at it again with part 2 of our travel series. Whilst in Las Vegas we booked a trip to see The Grand Canyon, with the company Grand Canyon Destinations. Our package was the South Rim tour which included visiting the Hoover Dam, Route 66 and 3 hours at The Grand Canyon. For this tour tickets retail at $99. We would definitely recommend booking your trip to the Grand Canyon with this company, as the service is excellent.

All the staff members were amazing on this tour, they were extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We received a breakfast snack, boxed lunch and a trip to IN n OUT burger.

Hoover Dam:

During the tour we stopped off at the Hoover Dam and experienced the scenic views of the Dam. This breath -taking view allowed us to see the Dam from several angles and take in its beauty.

Route 66:

Our second stop off point on this tour was Route 66, known as the Mother Road and was one of the original highways in the USA. There were several traditional stores and a display of the various cars from the famous movie Cars.

The Grand Canyon National Park

Our final stop was The Grand Canyon National Park. This wonder of the world is one of nature’s deepest gorges on earth. We spent three hours walking through different levels of The Grand Canyon and were amazed at every sight we saw.
