Hey guys! Taking a little break from our travel series and back to some beauty posts. I wanted to share some of my favourite setting sprays that I have been using and love. You can apply as much makeup as you want (just don’t apply layers and layers of makeup because you don’t want to look cakey) but to make sure it stays flawless all day you need a couple of spritz of setting spray! So let’s get straight into it.
This was one of the first sprays I got when I started buying makeup which was around 4 years ago and it’s still one of my most favourite setting sprays. You can spray this on to your face before you apply makeup as a primer or after. I found after applying this spray my makeup just looked so natural. This retails at £19.
They have a variety of scents, but I got ginger tea. On the website it says Green Tea but, on the bottle it says ginger so I don’t know if they are super confused about the scent but it smells like ginger to me. The scent is so refreshing, and it feels cool on the face. The bottle isn’t too big, and they also do a small size which is perfect for when you go out you can just pop it into your hand bag and spray when you need to. This retails at £16
I have heard so much about this spray everyone keeps talking about how amazing it is, your makeup doesn’t budge all day. So of course, once I heard that I had to try it, and now it’s one on my favourite setting sprays. I actually reach for this one the most now. It doesn’t have a crazy scent its quite subtle I actually like the smell. But it’s true what they say the makeup really doesn’t move, you stay looking and feeling flawless all day! This retails at £24.
This setting spray is not so much a setting spray it’s just a mist you can apply onto bare skin, so it looks natural and dewy. It’s infused with propolis which is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial and Argan oil which is hydrating. When I do simple makeup days, I like to use this spray because it keeps me hydrated and gives me a natural glow. When I do full glam makeup days then I like to spray one of my other setting sprays such as urban decay all-nighter so I know my makeup will stay in place and then I will go ahead and spritz this on the areas where I have applied highlighter just so I get that extra glow. The goal is to glow, to make it seem like you are glowing from within not to look oily/greasy, never want to look like that. This retails at £16.
This spray is similar to the Pixi Glow mist it’s designed to give you that fresh, dewy glow which is the trend right now. I have to say it does have a really strong smell, but it does make your skin look dewy. It’s not expensive either it retails at £7.
These are the sprays that work best for me, let me know what you guys think of these sprays if you have used them and if theres any other that you would recommend, i love trying new products! Hope you enjoyed this post. See you on the next one.
